Hi Justin,
This is your fan from Cincinnati. I just wanted to know what animal you recommend for a 10 year old.
I want to wish you good luck with your animal bio.
P.S. can't wait to see you again.
from,
Gabriel

Hi everybody: FYI, there is a very informative discussion on this website that gives details about schooling, experience and other factors to consider if you are interested in zoo work. Click on the "Get Involved" icon @ the top of the page, and then click on Zoo Jobs. Lots of info in there. Good luck to all of you :).

hi tori, i have taken bio, ap bio and am now in chemestry. the best way to find out about classes and ways of getting into such a career is by getting involved early. By this i mean find ways of helping out places such as the Zoo or any other wildlife/conservation based organizations. Also start small, begin with simply volunteer/intern opportunities. they are great ways of getting started and you meet a lot of people who can give you advice and help get you on the right track. Best of luck with everything. if you have anymore questions feel free to ask, i will check my blog at least once a week.

Thanks for your introduction, Justin. Best wishes on your further education and your career. With your help, the SDZ can do a lot of education of the public and go a long way toward conserving wildlife and habitats allowing both humans and animals and plants to live comfortably together on the planet we all share and call home.
