Kid Territory:Recipes: Warthog Waffles
Warthogs are one of my favorite animals of Africa. They are true
omnivores,
eating a little bit of everything they find, including seeds, fruit,
grasses, worms, snakes, and roots. Warthogs are active in the early
mornings, so this recipe is a great way to start your day!
Ingredients
|
Frozen waffles (round) |
1 |
apple, cored and sliced in rings |
3 |
tablespoons peanut butter (creamy) warmed in a microwave |
1 |
banana, mashed |
Heat your waffle in the toaster. Once it pops up, spread the peanut butter on the waffle. Next, spread a thin layer of mashed banana on top of the peanut butter. Finally, place an apple ring on top. Eat it like an open-faced sandwich. It's a great, nutritious, delicious way to start the day!
