Kid Territory:Recipes: Queen Bee Quesadillas
What's all the buzz
about bees? I know you might think of stingers, but bees are actually
a very important insect,
especially the queen bee! I've created a special snack in her honor.
In fact, without the queen and her bees, we wouldn't have one of the
main ingredients for this recipe: HONEY!
Ingredients
Flour
tortillas
Thin
slices of American cheese cut into long strips
Honey
Spread a tortilla flat on top of a paper plate. Lay the cheese strips in a stripe pattern across the tortilla. Cook in a microwave oven on high for 15 to 30 seconds. Remove from the microwave and let cool for a few seconds. Then pour lines of honey in between the cheese strips. Last, roll the tortilla into a tight tube and you have a treat fit for a queen bee!
