Kid Territory:Recipes: Bonobo Banana Boat

Our first recipe was for the big apes, this one is for the little apes–the bonobos or pygmy chimpanzees. These chimps are some of the smartest of animals. Playing is as important to them as it is to you!

Ingredients

Small bananas
Mini chocolate chips
Creamy peanut butter
Crackers, your favorite kind!

Peel the bananas and slice crosswise into bite-sized circles. Spread peanut butter on a cracker. A banana slice goes on top of the peanut butter. Add another layer of peanut butter and then sprinkle with mini chocolate chips. These may be small but they are mighty good! I could eat a million of them!
