Scavenger Hunt & Kids’ Crafts

Join in a fun "cat-centric" scavenger hunt at the Education booth and you could win
some cool stuff! You can also join in on some crafty activities for your “little kittens” at the Kids Craft booth.

Horticulture Booth

When: 11 a.m. — 3 p.m. daily
Where: Skyfari East

San Diego Zoo’s own Horticulture Department will have a display on browse food plants such as sage
and rosemary, which cats love, and a display on plant diversity and uses. You can also pick up a plant tour map for your visit on grounds.

Crazy About Cats Tour

When: Tours start at 9:30 a.m., 10 a.m., Noon, and 1 p.m.
Where: Near the flamingos, look for Sign Post #4
Price: $69 per person

During this 2-hour tour, get a special peak behind-the-scenes at our various cat exhibits and learn how
we take care of these special Feline friends of ours. You’ll be part of a small intimate group that will tour
the Zoo in a VIP cart and have the opportunity to get up close and personal with cats, keepers and other
specimens.

“We Love Wildlife” Booth

When: 11 a.m. — 3 p.m. daily
Where: Outside Zoo Party Area

Meet representatives of the US Attorney’s office as they display examples of items seized from wildlife
smugglers. You can also learn about the conservation and rehabilitation work we do with them as partners in protecting and saving endangered species.

The San Diego Zoo Institute for Conservation Research Booth

When: 11 a.m. — 3 p.m. daily

Learn what amazing cats we’re working to save around the world. You’ll also have a chance to win prizes
with our cat sound matching and “camera trap” games.

Adopt a Cat and Friend a Feline Booth

Adopt an endangered feline friend and get an adorable plush animal!

The Art of Stephen Fishwick

When: 11 a.m. — 4 p.m.

We welcome the return of this jaw-dropping unique art experience, where nature comes to life on canvas
in an extraordinary combination of movement and live interaction. This talented artist brings the faces of
animals and dreams to life…right before your eyes.

U.S.G.S. Bobcat Booth

When: 11 a.m. — 3 p.m. daily

Habitat fragmentation is one of the principle threats to biodiversity, and in developing landscapes,
urbanization is a leading agent of fragmentation and primary cause of species endangerment.
Bobcats are an excellent focal species to evaluate this connectivity, so drop by and learn from the
experts about all the good work being done to save this beautiful local California cat.

San Diego Zoo Safari Park Booth

When: 11 a.m. — 3 p.m. daily
Where: Kids Store

Safari Park representatives will be on hand to talk about all things Cheetah, from the perils of being
endangered to the success of the Park’s breeding program. You’ll also get to learn more about the Park’s exciting Cheetah Run Safari.

Zoo Veterinarian Booth

When: 11 a.m. — 3 p.m. daily
Where: Kids Store

Learn what it takes to take care of sick and injured Zoo animals. Join in games and activities related to
being a Zoo Veterinarian as well as interact with some real and toy aids to see and touch.

Dr. Zoolittle's "Feline Frenzy"

When: 11 a.m., Noon, 1 & 2 p.m. daily
Where: Clark Theater

The two-time winner of the Best Edutainment Show in a national category, one of the Zoo's most
well-known and beloved spokespersons, Dr. Zoolittle, returns to the Clark Theater with a fun show that has a great message for young and old alike. Drop by and share in the cat-themed fun.

Cat-like Connections

Watch keepers interact with some of our amazing cats at their enclosures. You may even see a carnivorous snack or two!
