Programs:
Spooky Sleepover at the Zoo
Day 1 activities
- Campers check-in at the Zoo's Otto Center — Crafts activity
- Welcome and orientation
- Board bus for Spooky Zoo tour
- Arrive at Camp Timbuktu for dinner
- Spooky songs with Wild Wes
- Walk to Reptile House for close-up viewing of some creepy animals
- Night Prowl through the Reptile House (enjoy Spooky entertainment and Trick or Treating along the way)
- Costume Parade and prizes
- Return to camp for dessert or moonlight walk to see more spooky animals
- Bedtime
Day 2 activities
- Breakfast and time to pack
- “Spectacular Sphere” or craft activities
- Morning Zoo walk and behind-the-scenes viewing of some amazing animals
Menu
Dinner: Pasta with marinara sauce plus sausage or meat sauce, macaroni & cheese, chicken nuggets, steamed vegetables, assorted rolls, garden salad. Cookies and ice cream for dessert.
Breakfast: Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, country potatoes, bagels, muffins, fresh fruit salad, assorted boxed cereal, orange juice, milk, and apple juice.
