At the Wild Animal Park

Savanna Safari at the Wild Animal Park is a premium tour option. All you have to do is sit back in the comfort of an intimate safari cart and get ready to see incredible animals and their habitats.

With no more than 10 guests, Savanna Safari provides you with a personal guide to fill you in on the inside story of the Wild Animal Park and answer all your questions. The relaxed design of the tour allows for a more personalized look at the Park and its animals and helps ensure you get great photographs to commemorate your visit. Use the binoculars provided, and watch the antics of the animals in the large field exhibits as they display behaviors naturally seen in the wild. It's an experience you won't soon forget!

Two itineraries are available:

Savanna Safari: Africa is the premium version of the Journey into Africa tour. This 50-minute program takes you to all the places on the Journey into Africa tour, as well as other areas not on the tour, such as Mountain Habitat, where you'll see herds of agile ibex, Barbary sheep, and klipspringer. Your guide will have wonderful stories about our animals to share with you.

Savanna Safari: Asia takes you around the Asian field exhibits for an exclusive view of our Asian animals, such as the Indian rhinoceros, Przewalski's wild horse, and Arabian oryx. This 50-minute program gives you personalized insight into these amazing animals, the people that care for them in the Park, and the conservation programs underway to help protect them in the wild.

The 50-minute excursions are available on a daily basis. Space is limited. Tickets can also be purchased at the Journey into Africa ticket booth at the Wild Animal Park on the day of the program.
