Tours at the San Diego Zoo

1 1/2-hour Special Tour:

For groups of 20 or more, this is a great mini-introduction to our mammal, bird, and plant collections. Includes a private bus tour and one off-exhibit area. $25 per person (minimum 20 people), plus Zoo admission for nonmembers. Children under 3 free.

2-hour Special Tour:

For groups of 20 or more, you'll discover how the Zoo focuses on its dedication to the conservation of endangered species and habitats. Includes a private bus tour and two off-exhibit areas. $35 per person (minimum 20 people), plus Zoo admission for nonmembers. Children under 3 free.

Inside Look VIP Tour

During this two-hour entertaining and educational tour, get a special peek behind the scenes and learn how we take care of our animals. This tour is filled with experiences and information you couldn't get anywhere else. You'll be part of a small group (maximum 7) that will tour the Zoo in a VIP cart and visit off-exhibit areas. See the Zoo the way everyone wishes they could ... from behind the scenes! $70 per person, plus Zoo admission for nonmembers. Children under 3 free.

21/2-hour VIP Tour:

You'll experience the Wild Animal Park the way everyone wishes they could...from behind the scenes! Your group of 1–10 will get the royal treatment as your private guide takes you on this tour. The Wild Animal Park is a zoological facility like no other, with expansive 100-acre field exhibits and endangered species from around the world. Includes a private cart tour and three off-exhibit areas featuring special views of our animals. $490 program fee (maximum 10 people), plus Wild Animal Park admission for nonmembers. Children under 3 free.

PLEASE NOTE: Private tours are offered by advance reservation only. Space is limited. Tours can be scheduled seven days a week daily, 9 a.m.–2 p.m.
