As you can tell from its common names such as jade plant, dollar plant, and cauliflower ears, Crassula argentea's leaves and flowers inspire many imaginative comparisons. The African succulent can be cultivated as a stout tree-like shrub, a hedge, or a house plant, but it's not likely to flower unless you keep it outdoors.
